CURRICULUM

Graduated cum laude as dentist in 1985 from the University of Genova, Italy
Adjunct Professor, School of Dentistry, Department of Neuroscience, University of Padua, Italy
Member of the International Bruxism Consensus Panel within the International Association for Dental Research, (IADR) and the International Network for Orofacial Pain and Related Disorders Methodology (INFORM) which works on the updated definition and classification strategies for bruxism. From the IADR 2018 in London, he followed and managed the works and publications which then led to the publication of the STAB in 2023.
Chair of the Congress IADR Symposium 2024: Standardized Tool for the Assessment of Bruxism (STAB) and BruxScreen.
Manager and co-ordinator, with Prof. D. Manfredini, of the international multicenter research pro-ject “ BRUXISM: CURRENT CHALLANGES AND INNOVATIVE TREATMENT” as guest editor of the Journal of Clinical Medicine.
Co-founder and Vice-president of the Italian Study Group Oralfacialpain and Temporomandibular Disorders (GSID)
Co-author of the guidelines 2017/18/19/20/21/22/23 of the British Medical Journal in the mono-graph “Best Practice/Point of Care-bruxism”.
Since January 1st, 2024, Alessandro Bracci acts as Associated Editor for bruxism of the Journal of Craniomandibular and Sleep Practice.
Author of international publications in the field of bruxism.
Lecturer at congresses and courses always in the field of bruxism.
